Pachyphragma macrophyllum

Shade loving, ground-covering plant that forms a weed-suppressing carpet of large, round, shiny, green leaves. As snowdrops fade, showy heads of white, cress-like flowers appear early in March before new leaves emerge. These are followed by small, green seed pods shaped like upside-down hearts.
