This self-sowing, herbaceous perennial carries lacy heads of tiny, lilac flowers on tall stems above large, heart-shaped leaves in early summer. It seeds around mildly and has a quiet charm, fitting well into less formal flower borders and wildlife-friendly gardens. Attractive to bees.
